The Slotfather Part II Slot Machine 20 Free Spins
The original Slotfather machine was a smash hit for Betsoft, so it’s no surprise to see the company has now created a sequel. The Slotfather Part II is another “3D Slots” release and features some of the best graphics you’ll find in any online slot machine. Each of the symbols and characters has been created from a full 3D model and rendered in photo-realistic quality, although Betsoft has perhaps wisely chosen to use give the artwork a caricature-like finish. The end result is a theme that fits perfectly with the cheekiness of the Slotfather title and is sure to delight fans of the original machine.

Paylines or Pay-ways – Whats the difference?
Whereas the original game used traditional pay lines, Slotfather Part II eschews these in favor of the more modern 243-ways to win play mechanic. All players have their own opinion on this alternative style of the slot machine, but the end result tends to be a game that awards smaller wins at a more regular pace than those which use ordinary pay lines. That description seems to fit quite well here, particularly as this game also uses stacked symbols which results in very few dead spins. The downside of this is that some of the smaller combinations such as three and four-of-a-kind of the lower value symbols pay out very poorly indeed – as low as 1/12th of your stake in the worst cases.
It’s not all bad news, however! Like so many 243-ways machines, the vast majority of Slotfather II’s payouts are tied up in the bonus rounds, and there are plenty of these to watch out for. A free spins based feature can be triggered when three or more of the truck scatter symbols appear on the reels, awarding between 8 and 20 free spins. All payouts are doubled in this mode and a random “Big Boss” bonus is awarded at the end of the feature as well. The game doesn’t explain clearly how the Big Boss award is calculated, but it would appear that higher amounts tend to be awarded if your free spins were mostly unsuccessful – a little like the “Feature Guarantee” in Real Time Gaming’s series of slot machines.
A second feature can be triggered whenever three or more stacks of matching gangster symbols appear on a single spin. This “Gangster Bonus” is made easier to trigger thanks to a free re-spin which activates when two stacks of gangsters land, giving you a second chance to hit that all-important third symbol. The gangster symbols themselves have some tasty payouts attached to them too, and should you catch a stack on all five reels simultaneously you will be awarded the game’s jackpot of a five-of-a-kind win on all 243 pay-ways simultaneously! The bonus feature itself varies depending on which of the three gangster characters make up your triggering combination, but it’s essentially just another take on the traditional “pick me” bonus round.
Overall Slotfather Part II is a great 243-ways game, with great graphics, huge payouts, and is a definite improvement on the original. Betsoft hasn’t released many 243-ways games in the past, so it’s great to see such an accomplished title from them despite their lack of experience with this style of machine. This is one game that’s worth looking out for!
