I played Gorilla Go Wild Video Slot in demo mode for about 30 minutes, and I will say that I enjoyed playing. I got to unlock the first feature, which is Gorillionaire Win Spins Feature. This feature is explained in more detail further into my review.

The game symbols and the whole design is pretty cute and colorful. Gary the Gorilla stands to the left of the reels, and he celebrates when you win… scratches himself, and when you don’t win for a couple of spins, he gets a real bored expression. He also reaches up and grabs a banana every now and again, which is the Snack Time Feature; also explained in more detail further into my review.

The Gorilla Go Wild Video Slot story begins with Gary the Gorilla in Gary’s Kingdom. Eating one banana at a time, help Gary with his quest to reach ‘Banana Nirvana’. Along the way, you will see Gary upgrade his crown, move to different jungle locations, and unlock new features and trigger bonuses.

The return to player (RTP) for this game is 92.06% to 96.5%. Go Wild Gorilla has ‘Increasing RTP’ innovation, which causes Bonus Features to hit more frequently, as you continue to progress in the game. You will notice the progression as Gary’s Crown evolves, and he changes locations in the jungle.

Further innovative designs in this slot game involve the integrated character of Gary the Gorilla, where he gets involved in your gameplay, and not just there as a celebration ornament. There is also a new anticipation windup included with a Whizz-By where there is a Scatter Highlight during the wind-up when 2 Scatter Symbols appear on the reels. There are various Scatter animations for pays and triggers during the game, as well.

Gary the Gorilla is the Wild Symbol, and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter Symbol. The Scatter Symbol is the Temple Symbol. The Scattered Temple Symbol anywhere on the reels pays any with 2 or more. The Scatter Wins are multiplied by the bet per spin.

Other symbols on the reels consist of a Golden Gorilla Coin, a Monkey, a Toucan, a Ring-Tail Lemur, and the common card symbols A, K, Q, J, 10, and 9.

When 3 or more Scattered Temple Symbols appear anywhere on the reels, Gary the Gorilla’s Feature Kingdom Feature triggers. You will choose one of the available Free Games Features. The availability of your choices depends on your progress in the game… as you continue to unlock the Feature Kingdom Features.

The 1st through the 4th time you trigger the feature, you will only have the Gorillionaire Win Spins Feature available. Each Feature counts towards Unlocking More Fantastic Features. Gary the Gorilla may also award the Feature Kingdom at Bonus Time.

Gary the Gorilla’s Bonus Time
Gary the Gorilla may award Bonus Time after any bought spin. Win a Prize or Feature Kingdom Entry. As Gary eats bananas, he will advance and award Bonus Time more often.

Snack Time Feature
The more you play, the more bananas Gary the Gorilla will eat. Gary the Gorilla will advance when he runs out of bananas. The more Gary the Gorilla advances, the more frequently he will award you with Gary the Gorilla’s Bonus Time. There is a ‘Banana Meter’ in the upper left corner of the game window, and as you continue to progress in the game, you will be able to watch as it is eaten away by Gary. This will show you how close you are to getting to your next RTP increase.

Gamble Game Feature
To gamble any win, click the Gamble button, and a second screen will appear with a stack of cards faced down in the center. You will then need to select the color or suit of the next card to be turned over. Win is 2X if color choice is guessed correctly. Win is 4X if the suit choice is guessed correctly. An incorrect guess ends the Gamble Game Feature, and your stake is lost to the house. Winnings may be gambled up to 5X. Progressive Jackpot Wins cannot be gambled.

Gary Goes Bananas Rules
After any bought spin, Gary the Gorilla may eat a Banana. When no Bananas remain, Gary will advance by moving to a new area in the jungle. Gary will advance 3 times. Each time Gary advances, the frequency of Gary’s Bonus Time is increased.

Gary the Gorilla’s Feature Kingdom Rules
3 or more Scatter Temple Symbols on the reels opens Gary the Gorilla’s Feature Kingdom. The Feature Kingdom can also be awarded at random from Gary’s Bonus Time. You get to choose which features to play.
