Burning Desire Slot Review

Burning Desire is a very simplistic online video slot game, which has been drafted together by Microgaming. In fact, although it is laden with special features; visually – burning desire is actually a throwback to something that many gamers might have played in the late 90s. It does have Microgaming’s unique 243 ways to win feature though, and also contains wilds, scatters, multipliers, free spins and a non-progressive jackpot of 30,000 coins – which no player will turn their nose up at.

Only the most stereotypical slot could get away with using icons as basic as these. 9s, 10s, Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces make up the high playing card icons, whilst bells, diamonds, roses, bars, gold coins and burning 7s make up the more visually appealing symbols in this video slot.

Cost of Playing

Any gamer hoping that with its laidback look, Burning Desire will somehow be cheap to play is sorely mistaken. Coin values range from 0.01 up to 1.00, and players can stake up to 10.00 of these per spin. However, players aren’t going to enjoy playing with the maximum stake, which will set them back a hefty 250.00 per spin!

Special Features

There is a wild symbol in this slot and it is represented by the Burning Desire icon. This symbol can replace all others, with the exception of the golden coin. The wild appears only on the second and fourth reel.

The gold coin is a very special icon in this video slot. Should a player land three, four or five of them adjacent to one another, then they will in 15 free spins in a bonus round. All of the winnings that a player accumulates during a typical free spins round will be met with a 3x multiplier, and free spins can be retriggered whilst the bonus round in in session. Up to 90,000 coins (3x the jackpot) can be won in this bonus round.

Burning desire certainly plays good, and has all the special features of a really entertaining title. It doesn’t look the best though. If Microgaming deliberately intended to release a new slot that looks as though it had rolled out of the very first online casinos (graphically), then they have succeeded. If they didn’t, the poor graphics hurt this slot’s chance of success.
