Developed to be played over 1,024 paylines, and with dirt cheap bets aplenty, there is much which appeals about this newly released slot. Stampede will permit players to choose coin values of 0.02 and up, leading to minimum bets of 40p per spin, whilst total bets do not exceed £200 per spin. That’s not a bad return given that you get over a thousand paylines to play with. The jackpot is, however, slightly on the petite side, standing at just 300 coins in total.
Special features
You won’t be short of wilds in this game, as wild icons tend to pop up fairly regularly. Players will also note that wilds do only show up on the second, third and fourth reels of the slot. Wild symbols can appear during the bonus round and offer multipliers, and they can replace all other symbols, save for scatter icons.
Keep an eye out for the acacia tree, since it is this symbol which acts as Stampede’s scatter. Landing 3 or more of these symbols will trigger the slot’s only real bonus round, which is a free spins feature.
A gamble feature has also been worked into this slot’s design, but that is neither here nor there, really. You won’t have better than a 50% chance of success in this double-up feature, which can be triggered following any win, so our advice is to avoid it altogether.

Now, back to the free spin bonus. Players will note that they can start the bonus round with 8, 12 or 20 free spins in total, depending on whether they landed 3, 4 or 5 scatter icons on the reels. During the bonus round, wilds can multiply your winnings 2x or 3x, but they can also do so much more. Landing multiple wilds on the reels will see those multipliers multiplied, resulting in potentially wins which could be worth up to 27x the normal rate of pay (such as 3x3x3).
Final thoughts
You’ve got plenty of chances to land decent wins in this slot, and nobody would ever turn away a slot for those reasons. Stampede may not be the most visually impressive African safari-themed slot of all time, but it does deliver decent wins and for dirt cheap bets to boot.
